We are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our award-winning Credit Control team, based at our Solihull Head Office (Hybrid Working).
This is an outstanding opportunity to join CICM's High Performing Credit Team of The Year , in a role that will see you take full ownership of a sizeable ledger, working with major construction companies to ensure swift recovery of outstanding payments.
You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to provide a first-class service, provide essential data and insight, and also contribute to continuous improvement across all areas of the function.
This role sits within the Tarmac Shared Service Centre and offers an entry point into all the main area's of Transactional Finance.
You will also have the opportunity to further your professional career through studying towards AAT or CICM recognised qualifications, with support provided through funding and study leave.

Role Responsibility As Credit Controller, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide a first-class service, provide essential data and insight, and also contribute to continuous improvement across all areas of the function.
Ensure customers are managed so that cash is collected to terms agreed and accounts operate within approved credit limits.
Delivery of company cash goals and debtor targets on a monthly basis.
Provide excellent customer service both to internal and external customers.
Own and manage a ledger of specific accounts ensuring they are operated within agreed credit parameters, payment terms and credit limit.
Deliver to agreed monthly cash and aged debt targets and KPI's.
Build sound working relationships with key business stakeholders.
Contribute to daily huddle meetings, to share best practice and problem solve with the wider team.
Ensure proactive telephone collections chasing ahead of invoice and application for payment due date.
First point of contact resolution on any customer queries and disputes wherever possible.
Provide relevant updates with regards status of due cash.
Ensure compliance with all policy and process controls, providing support with audit requirements as deemed necessary.
Daily liaison with credit Risk team.
Provide excellent customer service whilst maximising cash-in for the business.
Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
