About This Role As a Creative Arts Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support the department in delivering engaging lessons and assist students of varying abilities.
Key responsibilities include: Assisting with lesson planning and preparation to deliver creative and inspiring lessons across Music, Art, Drama, Dance and other creative subjects.
Supporting students in their development of artistic techniques, performance skills, and creative projects.
Conducting small group sessions or one-on-one interventions to help students with coursework, performance, or project work.
Facilitating practical activities such as rehearsals, studio work, or performances.
Encouraging enthusiasm for the creative arts by supporting extracurricular activities like drama productions, music performances, or art exhibitions.
Key Requirements: A 2:1 degree in Music, Art, Drama, Dance or a related creative field.
A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students in their artistic development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff.
Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
