Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to provide general cover across our supportive Secondary Schools based in Northampton and surrounding areas.
You would be based in NN2 and NN4. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in education, develop your classroom management skills, and contribute to the learning journey of young people.
The flexible role will provide cover for pupils across the KS3/KS4 and sometimes KS5 curriculumto meet the needs of schools within the area.
There is the potential for long er term positions for the right candidate. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible and adaptive nature and open to covering for a variety or subjects, and year groups depending on what is required at the time.
It is also ideal that you have an innovative mindset to adapt the lessons to all different skill sets to ensure understanding across the board for all students.
You will be responsible for delivery of pre-planned lessons and supervision of pupils, to cover PPA and short-term absence.
Ensuring effective behaviour management in line with school policy and engaging pupils within the learning environment.
Requirements: • Availability for standard working hours: 8:15 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Prior experience working in schools is advantageous.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
