We are seeking a proactive Cost Management Specialist to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to Head of Strategic Sourcing Management and collaborating closely with our Technical, Strategic Sourcing, and CRO teams, this role is key to managing and mitigating cost trends across our supplier base.
We are currently hiring two 12 month fixed term contracts.
Key responsibilities include: Monitor CRO and BER cost trends, addressing cost creep with corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs through Alternate Technical Data (ATD) solutions or alternate suppliers.
Perform AUC (Average Unit Cost) analysis to pinpoint discrepancies and improvement areas.
Manage Contract Remedies Recovery to recover costs via contracts or other enablers (e.g., Airbus SSC).
Ensure compliance with contracts by processing KPIs and conducting contract audits.
Review market trends and negotiate cost optimizations against repair price levels.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify strategic partners and manage cost-saving initiatives.
Investigate root causes of cost deviations and implement corrective measures.
Develop tools and processes for tracking contract remedies, cost trends, and compliance.
Support CRO team in sourcing ATD alternatives to minimize costs.

Preferred: Experience of evaluation supplier repair cost quotes to identify cost compliance and deviations Proactive and forward-thinking, with a focus on continuous improvement.
