We are currently working with a pre-IPO fintech company based in London who are looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join their team on an interim basis.
Working closely with the Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary you will support the team on a wide variety of company secretarial matters including: Managing a team of two people who support on co sec matters Supporting on board agendas and the annual general meeting Advising on shareholder related matters Supporting and advising on the upcoming listing Advising the business on the Companies Act Providing regulatory support The company has achieved great success to date and are revolutionary in their approach.
This has meant that for many matters relating to co sec that there isn't necessarily a precedent on how to do things.
This role would therefore suit an agile, open minded corporate lawyer who is able to think outside the box and be open to new ways of doing things.
To be considered for the role you should: Be open to working on a broad range of company secretarial matters Be immediately available or available at short notice Be proactive, inquisitive, and open to new ways of doing things Have an interest in AI, tech and coding (You do not need to have experience in financial services to be considered for this role).
