This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Corporate Finance Manager or Senior Manager to join our Belfast team and play a pivotal role in our continued success.
The Role: As a Corporate Finance Manager/Senior Manager, you will take a leadership role in managing a variety of corporate finance projects.
The focus will primarily be on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), complemented by some due diligence work and strategic advisory.
You will work closely with clients across a wide range of industries, helping them achieve their business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Transaction Management: Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, from initial client discussions to completion.
Develop and execute transaction strategies, including preparation of information memoranda, valuations, and financial models.
Due Diligence: Oversee and contribute to financial due diligence assignments, ensuring thorough and insightful analysis to support client decision-making.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Provide strategic advice to clients on business valuations, capital raising, and deal structuring.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider UK Corporate Finance team to leverage expertise and resources.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional development and project contributions.
Market Insight and Development: Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities.
Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and networking to enhance the firm's reputation and win new work.
What you wil have: Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (essential).
CFQ or experience in Corporate Finance (desirable).
Experience: Proven experience in M&A, corporate finance, or transaction services within a professional practice or relevant industry.
Demonstrable expertise in managing complex projects, including financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence.
Skills and Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage client relationships and lead teams effectively.
Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.
