Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Financial Services Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client and drive impactful change in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Lead workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Develop and manage user stories, use cases, and workflows to support solution design and development.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, testers, and business leaders, to ensure requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform gap analysis and impact assessments to evaluate current and future state requirements.
Support the development and execution of test plans to validate that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Facilitate change management processes, ensuring stakeholders are informed and prepared for system changes.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of banking, insurance, investment, or other relevant sectors.
Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, such as MiFID II, Basel III, or other relevant frameworks.
Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, and process modeling.
Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
