Control Systems Engineer

In this key role, you will join our product development team and management team to support the development of our next generation of Fluid System Electronic Controllers.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Lead, you will work collaboratively with our mechanical engineering team to provide innovative, effective, and fit-for-purpose solutions to our global customer base.
You will be responsible for fulfilling requirements of the development life cycle from research and concept through to final manufacture, leading design reviews to ensure that Rotork's designs and solutions comply with specifications and relevant standards, and developing and executing functional and non-functional test specifications to ensure compliance with requirements.
This role would suit an individual who is proactive, hands-on, and driven to ensure the delivery of all activities in line with agreed timelines, making strong decisions under pressure.
Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with control system design.
Experience in embedded C programming.
Experience working with closed-loop feedback systems.
The successful candidate: Will motivate, influence, and direct technical professionals.
Has a track record of successful delivery of medium to large projects.
Able to balance the short-term focus on results with longer-term interests.
Is adaptable and able to cope with the unexpected, managing issues effectively.
