We are working with a reputable Local Authority in the Bedfordshire region looking for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their busy division on an interim basis.The successful candidate must be UK qualified and have upwards of 3 years' experience in:• Commercial contracts• Public procurement issues experience is essentialExpertise in dealing with a wide range of contracts including:NEC and general building contracts Contracts for goods and services Public procurement issues Contractual disputes JCT building contracts General advice work Large scale development projectsYou will need to have experience of handling your own legal caseload which will include complex matters.
The council offer a hybrid working environment.Pay rate is between £45-50 per hour.The local authority is looking for a candidate to start on a full-time basis as soon as possible.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks' notice.
Previous Contracts and Public Procurement legal experience is essential.
