Continuous Improvement Specialist (Fixed Term Contract) In 1973, Karndean started life as a small family business.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Warehouse team on a fixed term 6 month contract, to assist with moving from one Warehouse to another.
This position is well-suited to a highly motivated individual who is looking to improve our current processes through innovative training solutions, performance metrics and best practices in warehouse operations.
This position is based in the Warehouse Department and reports to the Warehouse Manager.
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for mapping out current operational warehouse processes and then reviewing and updating these to support a successful transition to our new warehouse.
Responsibilities: Upon joining us you'll assess our teams training needs and design and implement comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Through collaboration with warehouse management you'll identify areas for process improvement utilizing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to drive operational efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training will be key in this role to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge with a blended learning approach.
You'll be responsible for establishing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on warehouse performance, adjusting and improving the training to drive effectiveness.
We love to collaborate at Karndean and working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of training initiatives with business objectives is essential!
We'd like you to use your expertise to support change initiatives by preparing and guiding staff through new processes and technologies as we move into our new warehouse.
Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement among all warehouse employees this will have an impact on the operational team.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and program evaluations.
Your role will be working autonomously and so we will ask for reports to understand training outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives from you.
Requirements: Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a warehousing or logistics environment.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
Six Sigma qualification an advantage Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
