The Role / Position Overview Financial Times Live (FT Live) is the conferences and events division of the Financial Times newspaper and its group publications.
Our mission is to bring our global executive audiences the very latest in knowledge and opinion, and connect them to one another.
Chaired by senior FT journalists, the 200-plus core events, strategic forums and digital webinars organised by FT Live every year gather pre-eminent public and private sector decision-makers, innovators and strategists from the world's most important economies and industries for agenda-setting debates that cover the key issues of our time.

THE ROLE As an exceptional Content Editor based in London, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to producing innovative, high-quality forum event programmes.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a world-class news organisation and contribute to the success of our digital, hybrid, and in-person events.
Your role will involve: Researching, writing, and producing core and strategic event programmes.
Inviting and confirming speakers for events.
Developing editorial proposals for sponsorship sales packs and pitches.
Conducting due diligence and assisting in the development of new ideas for global multi-sponsored events.
Liaising with FT journalists, the sponsorship department, project management, marketing, and social media teams to ensure the flawless execution of events.
Managing additional content related to pre- and post-event engagement, including live streaming and social media output.
Assisting with any other post-event content, such as thank you emails to speakers and event summaries.
KEY SKILLS To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: Established track record of successfully initiating and implementing new events, and improving existing ones.
Experience working on B2B events.
Ability to work within a large, dynamic, and fast-paced international business.
Strong client focus, with the capability to build robust relationships with external customers.
Outstanding project management, organisational, and analytical skills.
