About the Role Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our client in North Yorkshire. This is a permanent role offering a competitive salary of up to £180,000 per annum, with the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours. For those seeking greater work-life balance, there is also the option to compress working hours.
Key Responsibilities Lead and provide specialist psychiatric care to patients on a female ward with complex needs.Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and oversee the mental health care of patients.Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, and social workers.Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Mental Health Act.Requirements Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician (AC) status.Extensive experience in managing complex cases within female psychiatric wards.Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a patient-centred approach.
