About the Role As a Compliance Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, you will conduct in-depth reviews, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to enhance our compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and report on desk-based and thematic reviews in line with the compliance monitoring program.
Analyse business activities, processes, and controls to identify potential regulatory risks and areas for improvement.
Provide clear, concise reports with findings and recommendations to senior management.
Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of compliance issues.
Stay informed on regulatory developments and ensure their integration into the monitoring framework.
About You You are an experienced compliance professional with a proven track record in monitoring and testing.
You bring analytical rigor, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Essential Skills and Experience: Experience conducting desk-based and/or thematic reviews.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements within corporate banking.
Ability to analyse complex processes and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
