Company Accountant / Finance Manager

Job Title: Company Accountant / Finance Manager Location: Norwich (Office-based) Salary: Up to £50,000 Our client is a growing business, seeking an experienced Company Accountant / Finance Manager to take ownership of its financial operations.
This position is suited for a versatile finance professional who can oversee daily financial processes, support decision-making with meaningful insights, and contribute to the business's growth trajectory.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved in both day-to-day accounting and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities Manage monthly financial reporting, including preparation of Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
Track key performance indicators and prepare relevant financial reports for management.
Develop cash flow forecasts to help ensure financial stability.
Act as the primary contact for external audits, ensuring timely and accurate audit processes.
Handle VAT returns, invoicing, and supplier payments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Oversee payroll processing in coordination with an outsourced provider.
Reconcile revenue and ensure accurate financial records.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in a broad accounting role, with skills in cash flow forecasting and VAT returns.
You will have the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and contribute to process improvements.
Experience in a small or owner-managed business environment is advantageous.
