We are looking for someone who is invested in team working and in leading clinical developments with the team and service, as well as developing and supervising staff to support the HoS and AD to maintain and develop the highest standards of care and therapeutic support for the young people and their families who access our service.
Main duties of the job The post-holder will provide clinical leadership and specialist treatment and assessment within their professional sphere of expertise in EWMHS.
They will be responsible for assessment, treatment and systematic outcome measurement and the extensive clinical supervision of junior clinicians throughout the EWMHS team.
They will clinically supervise, and line manage the (8a) post-graduatequalifiedpsychologicalpractitionerinthelocalEWMHS team.Thepostholder willofferextensiveexpertconsultationsacrosstheEWMHSteam.Thepostholderwillbe accountable for their own professional actions, and will work within professional ethics & Trust Policies as a specialist.
The post-holder will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with wider mental health and wellbeing services and ensure adherence to evidence based treatments by allclinical staff across the EWMHS team.
The post-holder will be directly involved in delivering and supervising a range of therapeutic interventions, whichmayincludeparentwork,groupwork,school observationsofchildren,short term EWMHS input and specialist psychological treatments.
They will be responsible for all specialist psychological assessments and treatments within their professional sphere of expertise within EWMHS.
Working for our organisation Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.
All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.
As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.
The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period.
Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High-Cost Area Supplement This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata).
