JOB DESCRIPTION Are you an experienced commis chef looking for a new opportunity?

We have a vacancy for an experienced commis chef to join our team.
Working on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and the general upkeep of the kitchen.
Key skills and responsibilities include: Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas.
Assisting in food production.
Supporting the production of new menu ideas.
Maintain kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling them with great care.
Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, and cookers are in good working order.
Reporting any faulty equipment to the kitchen manager.
Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised.
