Commercial Manager- TST Group Ballymena office, with travel across Northern Ireland Our client, TST Group is an established, family owned, multi award-winning transport and logistics company.
Providing end-to-end supply chain management, including transport & logistics and customs clearance, and warehousing & storage solutions they work with household names throughout the UK & Ireland.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, working closely with the MD & CEO, you will be responsible for strategically developing the relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities within the Northern Irish marketplace.
You will have the support of a leadership team with over 35 years industry knowledge, providing innovative, customer focused solutions.

About the role: You will build & maintain strong commercial relationships, developing key clients within the TST network, to strengthen and develop our existing customer base.
Working with their clients to drive activity, identify opportunity and monitor performance on an on-going basis.
Cross functional collaboration across the Group to efficiently to ensure the successful implementation of solutions and maintain the highest service standards.
Supporting contract negotiations and tenders, Client advocacy whilst balancing operational needs and cost management.
Ensuring the delivery of strategic & commercial objectives, working with clients to establish collaborative forecasting.
Identifying & develop new opportunities, attracting new business to TST Group.
Market research to stay informed of market trends, competitors, and industry regulations to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance against targets for Executive review.
What you need: Strong knowledge of the transport industry, logistics and/or warehousing knowledge highly advantageous High levels of drive & commercial awareness, with the ability to identify and provide the right customer solutions.
Professional approach, with the ability to develop strong commercial relationships within new and existing clients.
Highly organised, efficient and able to work effectively under pressure Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Able to work using your own initiative at a senior level and as part of a team Excellent time management to meet tight deadlines, with the ability to prioritise workload Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change A full driving licence is essential, as driving duties are involved in this role Have at least three years previous experience working within the Transport industry.
