Job summary North Cumbria Crisis Team is looking for highly motivated Clinical Support Assistants to join out newly developed Crisis Service.You will have the opportunity to base in Carlisle or Workington to deliver high quality care to our patients in the community across North Cumbria.You will work as part of an MDT, complimented by Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and medical staff.If you have excellent communication skills, work well in a team and are committed to making a difference to our patients, then your characteristics are just what we are looking for.
Main duties of the job To assist in the delivery of care to service users who have a variety of needs, diverse presentations and a range of mental health conditions, cognitive and/or learning disabilities under the direction of a registered practitioner.
The overall responsibility for the service user remains, at all times with the registered implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework as a member of the care team ensuring that high quality, individualised care is delivered and that this promotes recovery and wellbeing and maximises support the team in providing excellent and effective person centred provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
To actively engage with supervision and appraisal process as identified in Trust policy.

Person Specification Knowledge and Experience Essential Experience of working/ volunteering in an appropriate care setting Desirable GCSE A-C in maths and English or equivalent.
Qualifications Essential Senior Healthcare Support Worker or equivalent or working towards Desirable Experience of working within a relevant clinical service Skills and Competencies Essential Ability to develop the skills of others and contribute to a learning environment and work without direct supervision Desirable IT functional skills Personal Characteristics Essential Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team
