The Princess Grace Hospital and its three satellite sites (currently rated outstanding and Good by the CQC)The Wellington Hospital (currently rated Good by the CQC)The Harley Street Clinic (currently rated Outstanding by the CQC)The London Bridge Hospital (currently rated Outstanding by the CQC)Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will provide a customer-focused high-quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users across both inpatient and outpatient settings. You should have strong technical MRI knowledge.

Ensure the highest quality of care is provided at all times and to provide an effective service as part of the day-to-day operation of the MRI department.Carry out a full range of MRI scans to a high standard. Ensure high-quality imaging is provided to our consultants and liaise with relevant radiologists in striving for image optimisation.Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients.Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways.Adjust and utilise the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager.Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner.Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits, and QA.Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records.Occasional rotation across the satellite sites depending on the hospital location you will be working at.Person SpecificationQualificationsHCPC registeredDegree within RadiographyExtensive experience working within MRI (either as a Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent)In-depth knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanningIn-depth knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implantsExperience working with Siemens MRI scannersExperience within Cardiac scanning is desirableDisclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
