£62,500 Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Lead Psychologist to join our clients private mental health client, working with men who are deaf and have complex communication needs. As the Lead Psychologist, you will oversee a specialist mental health service, delivering evidence-based psychological care to service users with diverse and complex needs. You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, risk assessments, and service development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Deliver individual and group interventions using evidence-based approaches. Conduct diagnostic, cognitive, and risk assessments. Provide supervision, mentoring, and training to Psychologists and Assistants. Attend and contribute to Clinical Leads and Hospital Governance Meetings. Support the clinical team in engaging service users through therapeutic interventions and co-produced care plans. Develop and implement new clinical initiatives and service improvements. Participate in the recruitment and training of junior psychology staff. Collaborate with internal and external agencies to enhance treatment pathways. Support the development and implementation of policies to improve staff safety and risk management. What We're Looking For HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society. A Doctorate in Applied Psychology (e.g., Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling) from a recognised training body. Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessments, formulation, and therapeutic interventions. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and experience working with complex needs. Supervisory and mentoring skills with the ability to support a multidisciplinary team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and service development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
