We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Chest and Allergy service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Our allergy service is the longest established Allergy clinic in the UK. This is a fully comprehensive, nationally commissioned Allergy service. Our dynamic Allergy CNS Team provides outpatient services across the Trust.
Working within our multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be expected to deliver nurse-led outpatient clinics, support the food and drug allergy day case services, and work alongside the medical and nursing team to deliver our immunotherapy service. This post will work closely with the lead nurse for allergy and Allergy consultants within the service.
Awareness of the current issues in allergy management is essential in order to provide high-quality specialist nursing assessment, evidence-based intervention, and self-management support for our patients. Teaching experience is also highly desirable as is the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
This is a great opportunity for any individual who has an interest in this specialty and who is willing to undertake training appropriate to the post.
