Clinical Nurse Manager (Registered Adult or Paediatric Nurse) Service Type: Specialist Complex Care for Adults and Children within the Community Location: North East Region Hours: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm (No weekends or bank holidays) (On call is a requirement for this role ) About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Manager .
In this role, you will be part of a stable and experienced team dedicated to providing specialist complex care to clients within their own homes across the North East.
You will oversee the clinical management of clients with complex needs, working alongside our skilled operational managers to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
Our clients have a diverse range of needs, including conditions such as Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired Brain Injury, and other Neurological conditions.
Experience in a community setting or an ICU environment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Management: Oversee a caseload across the central region, ensuring high standards of care for clients with complex needs.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure that care is tailored to the individual needs of each client and manage clinical governance within the home.
Assessments and Care Planning: Conduct pre-admission assessments and develop individualized care plans, including risk assessments and regular reviews, using our digital system.
Ongoing Client Monitoring: Continuously assess and monitor clients' physical and psychological needs, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
Documentation and Audits: Audit monthly documentation and implement actions based on findings, utilizing our advanced digital platforms.
Staff Recruitment and Supervision: Participate in the recruitment, supervision, and training of nurses and support staff, including competency assessments and clinical training.
Promote Dignity and Independence: Champion the principles of choice, independence, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care.
