We are currently looking for a Client Vulnerability Analyst to join our IT team based in Solihull.
The role is hybrid working 2 days per week in the office.
Role Responsibility The Client Vulnerability Analyst will lead on critical client vulnerability remediation, security patching and end-of-life hardware/software.
Provide technical input and analysis to support End User Services asset lifecycle including hardware, software, mobile devices, warranties etc from acquisition to disposal.
Provides technical expertise in the WPC landscape including research and development of Standard Operation Environments (SOE), operating systems, client hardware, software versioning and patching.
•Responsible for critical client vulnerability remediation •Responsible for the roll out of standard and emergency security patching •Responsible for maintenance of client security agents.
(SEP/Qualys/Ivanti/ZScaler) •Responsible for the maintenance of client Cyber Essentials tasks (CRH and UK CE) In order to maintain UK government contracts •Responsible for the maintenance of NIST client tasks for cyber compliance •Work with SAM team to identify and remediate end of life software •Identify end of life hardware to report to the WPC Team Lead •Ensure new client software has security support for its intended life span.
•Represent as a subject matter export in the Change Management process.
•Works with the technical vulnerability analyst to maintain and implement remediation required for reducing identified vulnerabilities.
•Supports continuous process improvement •Ensures compliance with Internal Control processes and procedures.
•Local admin account administration and management •Asset retrieval administration The Ideal Candidate Will be educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role.
ITIL certified/trained Accredited by relevant software/hardware vendors (where available) In depth knowledge of UK Cyber Essentials Qualys Ivanti EPM/MDM Effective communication - technical and non-technical, Supports innovative thinking Problem analysis and solving WPC Lifecycle asset management Drive for results - focussed on successful outcomes Resilient - overcomes challenges and obstacles to succeed Persuasive – urge, influence and convince others.
