Client Service Advisor - Public Sector (Scotland) Are you looking for an exciting new challenge ?

Aon is currently recruiting for a Client Service Advisor to join our Public Sector team.
This role is a hybrid role which can offer the flexibility of office and home-based working.
Ideally candidates would be locally based to ur Glasgow office, however we would be open to other Scottish office locations such as Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
The Client Service Advisor will be primarily responsible for providing a high quality, innovative and profitable service in accordance with the client's needs.

What the day will look like As a Client Service Advisor some of your key responsibilities will include: Work with Client Managers to ensure the highest level of service to each assigned Client.
This includes liaising with Client Managers to fully understand the Client's business and insurance requirements, as well as identify potential improvements in the Clients risk and insurance programme and revenue development opportunities.
The day-to-day role involves: Contributing to the formulation of the Service Plan Renewal Reports Presentations and any other client documents as required On-going communication with clients and Insurers following queries/alterations Client and Insurer visits where necessary Premium debiting, maintenance of credit control standards and assisting with premium allocation Negotiate new business terms, Renewal terms, Mid Term adjustments and cover extensions.
Marketing & Tender Processes and providing full support to the broking function when utilised, to achieve optimum solution for the client.
Preparation of comprehensive marketing presentations, tender presentations and the renewal report, and prepare full cover comparisons as required.
Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers and where appropriate, differentiating with the Client; the cover, service and industry knowledge that a specific Insurer could deliver to them.
Ensure all KPIs are met and delivered Frequent communication with Line Manager, Team and Client Managers As part of the Public Sector Team, you will professionally represent Aon, demonstrating an understanding of Public Sector objectives, be seen by colleagues as someone who is supportive and helpful, and continually improve personal knowledge through appropriate training and implement appropriately.
You will be expected to take ownership of problems and their resolution, seeking assistance where necessary.
In carrying out your role, you will be expected to align with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management, be responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
How this opportunity is different The Public Sector Team consists of Client Managers and Client Service Advisors nationwide.
The team are focused on working together in delivering the best of Aon to its client base and ensuring clients business and insurance requirements are met.
In this team you will deal with a variety of clients from the Public Sectors including: Local Authorities Police, Fire and Rescue NHS Education Central Government And other Not for profit Organisations.
You will be collaborating with Client Managers and Client Service Advisors from across the country and this gives an exciting platform for knowledge sharing whether it be localised topics or topics with a more widespread impact on all clients.
Personal Development is encouraged and prioritised.
Training and support are widely available, be it from formal external training courses, the in-house training site or cover specific training courses.
Skills and experience that will lead to success Previous experience within any areas of Public Sector is preferred Insurance experience required, ideally gained at an insurance broker, where you have gained a High level of FCA Principle and Procedures knowledge Good level of technical knowledge, especially in the major and pecuniary classes, Property / Casualty and Combined.
Experience with the Procurement and Tender processes would be preferred.
Organised, with the ability to prioritise work, working within a team or independently, delivering accurately and on time Previous experience with Acturis would be preferred.
