The Role We are seeking a dynamic SEN teacher to: Deliver engaging and individualised lessons tailored to the needs of children with ASD and PMLD.
Implement and adapt EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) effectively.
Foster a nurturing and safe environment, promoting positive learning experiences.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, teaching assistants, and families.
Employ creative strategies to support sensory and communication needs.
About You To thrive in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and PMLD.
Knowledge of sensory integration techniques and alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS).
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children with complex needs.
Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
