We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Children in Care Social Worker to join our dedicated team.
This role focuses on providing high-quality support and care management for children and young people in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and positive development.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring each child receives individualized and effective supportConducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plansMonitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure they meet the needs of the childWorking closely with foster carers, residential staff, and other professionals to support the child's placementEnsuring compliance with statutory regulations and safeguarding proceduresPreparing reports for court and attending court proceedings when necessaryMaintaining accurate records and documentationRequirements: Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social WorkRegistration with Social Work England (SWE)Experience working with children in care or in a similar roleStrong assessment, planning, and intervention skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team and with external partnersCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat We Offer: Competitive rate of £30.57 per hourSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for professional development and ongoing trainingFlexible working arrangementsRandstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
