We have two shift patterns within the Heysham area, full days with sleeps and wake nights.
Requirements of a Residential Support Worker- A minimum of 12 months experience working with children and young people- Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle- You must have the legal right to work in the UK- Full employment history with any gaps explainedResponsibilities of a Residential Support Worker:- Provide support for the children and young people in the home and to promote their independence and wellbeing- To be able to deal with challenging behaviours when needed- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare- Maintain a safe environment for young people- Engage, communicate and listen to the children and their needs- Work pro-actively- Provide essential care and nurturing to the children- Maintain professional boundaries- Remain person centred at all times If you are interested in the position, please apply without delay OR call one of our friendly consultants for a chat about your career on 0151 922 9925
