Position: Children's Mental Health Care Team Leader Salary: £12.80 per hour Location: Salford (M7 postcode) Hours: 40 hours per week, day, night, waking night, sleep in shifts.

About our service We are a 3-bedroom home in Salford for young people with mental health needs.
The home works closely with a psychologist, who supports the team to be able to offer a therapeutic environment for young people to enable them to express and manage their emotions and learn new coping skills which they can take with them to use in later life.
The role You will support the Registered Manager by leading the day-to-day management of a shift.
This will involve providing practical assistance and emotional support to empower your team in supporting the young people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
About you As a member of the team you will need a real passion for providing a high standard of support that enables our young people to be as independent as they can, learn and develop through education and experience, stay healthy and most importantly, have a fun, fulfilling life.
It is essential to: Hold a NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Have previous experience supporting children and young people with mental health issues (self-harming behaviours, depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders) Experience of leading a shift and team Administering medication Supervisions, appraisals Be available to commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis We are looking for people who share these core values and are able to apply these to the work that you do.
