County: Buckinghamshire Salary: SCP 29-34, £37,336 to £42,403 p.a.
dependent upon qualifications and experience, plus generous pension (National Pay Award Pending) Applications are invited for the post of Chief Officer/Clerk/RFO (Responsible Finance Officer).
The ideal candidate will be CiLCA qualified, or willing to obtain the qualification, with experience in management and a supporting wide variety of skills.
Experience and qualifications in local government preferred but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
We are looking for a strong, dynamic, forward thinking, professional person who thrives on a varied challenging role and can drive the Council forwards.
Full-time position – 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week, although part-time will be considered.
A flexible approach is needed, as some evening and occasional weekend work will be required.
Currently home-based but this may change in the future if the Council obtain their own premises.
The role currently encompasses the RFO role but this may also change in the future if council decide to separate the role.
