We are looking for an excellent, highly-motivated and talented individual to provide direct support to the Chair of South West London Integrated Care Board (the ICB). At the current time the Chair of the ICB is also the Chair of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (the Trust), and, as such, this role will be delivered as a shared appointment between these two organisations, supporting the Chair of the ICB in delivery of their duties as Chair of the ICB and the Trust, but also other high-profile roles and interactions across London Region and the wider NHS.

The successful candidate will be able to co-ordinate and manage the different pressures resulting from these roles seamlessly so that the Chair is able to concentrate on their priorities and maximise the use of this time in delivering their objectives.
Main duties of the jobActing as a first point of contact for Chairs, Non-Executives, and Executive Teams across London, and key stakeholders such as NHS England (both Nationally and Regionally), other Health partners, and Local Government.Pro-actively managing the Chair's diary to ensure time is effectively prioritised keeping them informed and updated on relevant issues, commitments and responsibilities, prioritising and following up as appropriate.Working with senior members of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, SWL ICB and NHS England Regional team to ensure the Chair is appropriately briefed.Provide oversight of the Chair's diary with support from the respective administrative teams at SWL ICB and LGT.Managing and drafting correspondence on the Chair's behalf.Leading on specific pieces of work, projects and workstreams.Providing advice in specific areas.Acting on the Chair's behalf when asked to.Leading the planning and attending of meetings and events with the Chair.Ensuring that key issues and topics are addressed appropriately.About usNHS South West London Integrated Care Board works with partners from across the South West London Integrated Care System (ICS) to develop plans to meet the health needs of the population and secure the provision of health services, and is directly accountable for NHS spend and performance in South West London.

Person SpecificationAll CriteriaDemonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments.Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence for a senior audience.Ability to analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources.Numerate and able to understand complex financial issues combined with deep analytical skills.Ability to prepare and produce concise communications for dissemination to a broad range of stakeholders as required.Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly.Ability to work as part of a team and work flexibly to provide support to other departments and teams as and when necessary.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
£59,490 to £66,239 a year per annum inclusive of Outer HCAS.
