JOB PURPOSE As a Cash Office Accounting Assistant, you will be accountable for the daily reconciliation of bank and control accounts for a number of legal entities across Burberry, undertaking various administration and processes in a multiple of currencies.
This Cash Office Accounting Assistant is offered on a 12 month fixed term basis, and will be based in our Queen Street, Leeds office for 3/4 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES Processing cash allocations in SAP Daily reconciliation of bank and control accounts, including matching of cash and credit card transactions in multiple accounts, in multiple currencies Daily upload of files from third parties Weekly reconciliation & replenishment of Burberry gift vouchers Production of Month End bank and control account reconciliations for allocated account Ageing balances & unreconciled items processes and investigation PERSONAL PROFILE Previous experience in Cash Office Accounting/Bank reconciliations Knowledge of SAP experience (or any other purchasing order systems) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage workload independently Track record of working well under pressure to achieve deadline Excellent communication skills across all levels Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
