Care Quality Improvement Lead Salary: £40,000 per annum
Car Allowance: £3,600

About CareTech Group: CareTech Group is looking to appoint a Quality Improvement Lead. This role will be responsible for ensuring that services identified as at risk are brought up to standard as quickly as possible. This will involve being a troubleshooter and advisor, potentially managing services without a manager, supporting a new manager, or overseeing an existing manager in a supportive and/or performance management role.
Job Purpose: This pivotal role supports Operational colleagues where there are managerial shortfalls, either in quantity or quality. The focus is on identifying 'what' needs fixing and 'how' to fix it, leading the necessary actions to address these issues.
Key Activities: Act as a Quality Improvement Lead in services that require support to improve and meet regulatory/Contract/Compliance requirements. Work with homes and services to ensure best practices, compliance, and exemplary work by implementing and managing high-standard quality assurance practices. Collaborate with the Midlands Performance Director to identify solutions for at-risk services. Develop and implement service improvement plans for specific services identified as at risk. Lead the implementation of those plans and provide ongoing support to ensure compliance and improvement against agreed targets. Ensure improvement plans and actions are clearly understood within the service. Engage all service staff in improving the service. Set up systems for achieving the plan, monitoring progress, and ensuring timescales are met. Mentor and coach the incumbent staff team to ensure sustainable improvement. Identify and coordinate necessary resources. Rebuild relationships with external stakeholders and integrate the management staff team in that process. Provide the Head of Quality with regular service/region reports on progress with improving standards and compliance. Monitor processes and procedures ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable adults served by the Company and advise the Performance Director of any emergency vulnerable adult protection issues. Carry out investigations as required by the Performance Director, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor remedial action plans. Promote the corporate quality assurance agenda. Comply with all regulations regarding statutory visits and reports, ensuring communication of all issues to Operations Directors.
