Crossroads Care Surrey is seeking a dedicated Care Manager to lead our team of Carer Support Workers and drive high-quality support for unpaid carers across Surrey.
As a Care Manager, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of unpaid carers by overseeing a team of remote field staff.
Your focus will be on empowering care colleagues with the tools and support they need to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective care.
In this role, you will: Oversee a team of Carer Support Workers, providing guidance, resources, and support to help them thrive in their roles.
Regularly meet with the Senior Service Manager to uphold regulatory standards, following guidelines from the Care Quality Commission and Surrey County Council.
Apply your multitasking skills to manage team operations efficiently, ensuring smooth and compliant service delivery.

Is this the perfect role for you?
To thrive in this role, you'll need: Care Certificate and familiarity with CQC regulations and the Health Care Act Line management experience, ideally in a care setting, including rostering and conducting observations and supervisions Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and adaptability with other digital tools Ability to build supportive working relationships with team members, carers, and clients while maintaining professional boundaries Commitment to policies, procedures, and relevant guidelines A respectful approach to adults and children with support needs, with a clear understanding of confidentiality Insight into the unique needs of unpaid carers Full UK driver's license, access to a reliable insured vehicle for business use, and willingness to travel across Surrey Please note : all candidates must provide proof of Right to Work in the UK; we cannot offer sponsorship for overseas applications.
