Job DescriptionWe are looking to recruit a well organised and experienced Support Coordinator to join our dynamic and friendly Care Team to help support the delivery of outstanding home care for our clients.Could this be you?
?..Being a Home Instead Support Coordinator includes the delivery of excellent care support services, along with assessment and review of individual services and practical support visits, competency checks, instruction, and training of our care professionals - due to the field-based elements of the role you must hold a driving license.You will also be expected to look for opportunities for service development and business growth.If you are passionate about providing the best in community care, take pride in building engaging relationships with our clients and gain the commitment of our exceptional professionals, then this role is for you!The RoleResponsible for key aspects of office administration whilst being reactive to the needs of the business.Supporting the service delivery process by ensuring schedules are built effectively and efficiently around our clients and care professionals, whilst being ready to respond to schedule changes at short notice.Making sure there is sufficient cover for care assistant sickness, absenteeism, or holidays.Adding and maintaining all client and care professionals' information on our care planning system.Managing enquiries to the service by responding to emails and telephone calls in a warm, professional, and timely manner.Maintaining effective systems ensuring that all filing and databases are fully compliant and kept up to date.Working with the Registered Care Manager to implement new care packages, including organizing introductions of care staff to new clients.Liaising with the Care Manager and the Recruitment Officer to ensure sufficient staffing levels for new and existing care packages.Coordinating introductions to clients, competency checks and support visits for the care team out in the community.Supporting the delivery of a high-quality service through quality assurance telephone calls and visits to clients.Supporting the recruitment and pre-employment checks for new care professionals where appropriate.Taking part in the On-Call Rota and be willing to deliver care to ensure continuity of services, if required.Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.Ensuring compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
