We work in partnership with anumber of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatientservices with more care being delivered in community settings.We are looking for an experiencedcommunity Cardiographer who has the skills, knowledge, and experience tocoordinate and provide holistic outpatient Cardiology investigation testing topatients.

The postholder will be committed to undertakeany other duties commensurate with the role, within the bounds of their owncompetence.As an employee with us you can benefit fromEnrolmentto the NHS pension schemeAnnualleave minimum 27 days, plus 8 days bank holiday pro rataEmployeediscounts and benefits schemeEmployeeassistance programme (EAP)Educationand career pathwaysEnhanced Family friendly policies FlexibleworkingWellbeingsupport and initiative Main duties of the job Electrocardiograms (ECGs) To lead the recording of routine electrocardiograms on adult and paediatric patients To clearly and concisely explain the procedure to the patient To perform the ECG accurately to the standard of the Society for Cardiological Science and Technology (SCST) To recognise normal and abnormal ECG records and report any abnormal findings to the appropriate clinical member of staff.Ambulatory ECG Monitors; To prepare a range of monitors in preparation for the patient To provide clear and concise instruction to the patient on what the test entails, including advice on how to record information in the patient diary Apply the ambulatory monitor to the patient in accordance with the service protocol, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed To remove monitors from patients, ensuring that all symptom information has been noted in the patient diary To download and store holter monitors onto the appropriate computer programme, ensuring data is stored appropriatelyAmbulatory BP monitors; To issue and apply ambulatory blood pressure monitors to patients, ensuring clear and concise instruction is given to the patient relating to what the test entails and how to record any details in the patient diary To recognise the causes of erroneous recordings and to rectify where possible About us Modality LLP is a provider of NHS community outpatient services within a number of regions across the UK.Our service offer and expertise include: Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week Modality LLP is an Equal Opportunities Employer and is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all our potential applicants in line with the Equality Act, 2010.

Person Specification Experience Essential A minimum of 12 months experience working with adult and paediatric patients.
Experience of working in a patient centred role within a hospital/healthcare environment.
A minimum of 6 months experience of carrying out ECGs and holters and/or working as a HCA.
Skills Essential Demonstrates clear commitment to the team approach, exchanging ideas and providing support to colleagues.
Able to work effectively in a team, supporting others and challenging colleagues views and attitudes when necessary.
Evidence of having worked with the public.
Able to convey instructions and ensure patient understanding clearly and appropriately.
Advanced keyboard/typing skills.
Personal Qualities Essential Good interpersonal skills Good written and verbal communication skills Good computer skills Ability to adapt to changing and demanding situations.
Able to work unsupervised.
Highly organised individual who is able to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
Qualifications Essential 3 GCSE passes (grade C or above) or equivalent to include Maths, English Language and a Science.
Level 2 Qualification in a Healthcare focused subject.
