Carbon & Sustainability Impact Specialist - Hybrid London - £54 per hour insdie IR35 - 12 months Key Responsibilities: Technical and analytical data processing and management of key sustainability metrics and KPIs.
Gathering and validating emission factors and carbon data across different sustainable innovation projects of the breakthrough innovation portfolio.
Preparing internal quality check reports to ensure accurate data.
Correlating innovation impact contribution to the broader organizational targets/KPIs.
Analyzing carbon data and taking out different carbon reports.
Creating specific measurement tools for ESG impact measurement of innovations through specific carbon, water, and nature know-how aligned to external science-based target measurements.
Support overall admin tasks in project management of the BI pipeline (make presentations, plotting graphs, spreadsheets, Power BI, etc.).
Create, adapt, and monitor spreadsheets and/or power BI dashboards (tools to support project management of multi-stakeholders) Responding to data-related queries and keeping track of these Analyzing data to identify cross-functional trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Support the setup of processes and systems to make working with data more efficiently.
Producing reports and charts to communicate trends within data to non-specialists providing essential support to Sr Global BI Leads.
Presenting information generated from data to Sr Global Leads, which will be the basis of strategic recommendations.
Skills Experience required: Minimum a bachelor's degree, preferably in analytical or sustainability related fields.
Knowledge of carbon footprint calculation and reporting is essential.
Analytical skills with solid expertise in excel and other analysis tools.
At least 4 years of analytical work experience preferably in sustainability fields is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately is essential.
Strong teamwork skills are essential but also the ability to work independently on projects.
The ability and willingness to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately is required.
Education Minimum a bachelor's degree, preferably in analytical or sustainability related fields.
