Title: Business Development Manager Location: Oxford (2-3 Days a week onsite) Salary: Up to £60,000 base (OTE up to £105,000 1st year, £135,000 2nd year) The role The client is a spin out company of the University of Oxford.

Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and key account management to ensure successful outcomes.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base in UK, EU, USA, Asia, etc.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and R&D development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors activities to identify opportunities and mitigate challenges.
Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist the arrangement of business trips and meetings.
Assist the Financial department to collect business payments.
Collect customer feedback, and regularly summarise the methods and ways to improve the quality of products and customer service.
Prepare needed business documents, copywriting, and promote the company via social media.
Provide consultancy advices to customers of the company on their valuation results.
Act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group.
Take business trips in the UK and abroad.
Essential criteria Proven track record in sales management, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities and solve problems.
Solid negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients and team members.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Proficiency in social media app, MS office, CRM software and other sales tools to track and monitor sales activities.
Ability to work under pressure and towards deadline Interest in intellectual property (IP) valuation and management MSc/MA or PhD in business administration or relevant field.
