As we expand our commercial operations, we're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team.
Job Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for turning prospects into qualified leads, helping to expand our commercial client base and drive revenue growth.
You'll play a key role in establishing relationships with potential clients and nurturing leads until they progress to the quoting stage.
This role involves significant travel within the South East and potentially nationwide.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and engage potential clients, progressing leads to the quoting stage.
Maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and promote ongoing business.
Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate smooth transitions from lead to quote.
Report on lead progression and sales activities regularly to management.
Meet and exceed lead generation and sales targets.
Compensation Package: Base Salary : £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
Potential Earnings : With a combination of lead progression bonuses, sales commissions, and quarterly performance bonuses, total earnings can range from approximately £50,000 to £80,000 (uncapped), annually based on performance.
Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the construction or home improvement industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a portfolio of leads effectively.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
