4c is partnering with NOW Group for the appointment of a Business Development Director to lead the development and expansion of their JAM Card initiative.
This newly created role will afford an exciting opportunity for a driven, experienced and commercially astute individual.
JAM Card (Just A Minute) is a globally recognised initiative which enables people with hidden disabilities to discreetly ask for patience in everyday interactions and is supported by business partners across the widest range of services who sign up as JAM Card members /partners.
Reporting to the COO, the Business Development Director will be the face of JAM Card across Ireland, UK and the rest of the world.
The role holder will be responsible for creating new and developing existing partnerships with businesses across key sectors including retail, hospitality, transport, utilities, banking and public sector.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving JAM Card engagement not only with new and existing business partners but also with the community it serves with an aim of achieving one million registered users.
This strategic position is ideal for someone with a genuine care for social justice with extensive experience of utilising data effectively to inform and drive decisions, managing and developing a high-performance sales team, and significantly increasing revenue by identifying and capitalising on new partnership opportunities and revenue streams.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have the following : Significant business to business sales and/or business development experience at a senior level, with responsibility of managing and leading a sales/business development team.
Demonstrable successful experience of supporting a business and a sales/ business development team through a period of significant growth.
Experience of utilising both market intelligence and data driven insights to inform and maximise sales opportunities and strategies.
Experience of using metrics and data to drive team effectiveness.
Familiarity with a CRM system, ideally, Hubspot.
