Full time fixed term - Maternity Cover WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Coordinator.
You will be supporting our international sales team to sustain and grow our global customer base.
This is a fast-paced demanding role.
Provide commercial support to a global sales team throughout the entire sales cycle To liaise with internal departments to ensure prompt response to market and customer requirements Work with the global sales team to assess ongoing sales performance Drive clarity around sales pipeline with sales team Hold sales team accountable to their pipeline - ensuring all opportunities on Salesforce are kept up to date Preparation of quotations, Request for Proposals Work closely with Technical Sales Support and Business Development teams to ensure fast and accurate quoting to customer requirements Preparation of information for Tenders and Request for Information Take the lead on supplier pre qualifications / certifications Review Purchase Orders upon receipt, ensuring it matches quotation and ensuring all PO information is complete before sending to the Order Fulfilment team Support development of customer documentation to enable sales as required Support market development and drive initiatives to grow market Understand the market dynamics in detail: key customers, industry challenges, market trends Research market and identify potential target customers Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports etc.
Co-ordinate customer visits to HQ (agenda, logistics etc.)
Develop and implement processes to support of internal/ external business operations and improvements Be an ambassador for the company to maintain and enhance our reputation with customers and partners WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED High standard of computer literacy including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and email packages including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word Excellent written & verbal communication skills Be a good team player capable of delivering excellent results under pressure and to strict deadlines Personable and ability to work across language and culture Ability to travel internationally QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Languages or similar relevant qualification.
