Job summary This role involves providing high-quality care and support to an adult female client with a brain injury, ensuring her comfort, safety, and well-being.
The Healthcare Professional will participate in goal-directed rehabilitation interventions and assist the client with executive functions, organization, planning, and communication needs.
Main duties of the job The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Assistant will support the client in functional daily living activities, help with organization and planning, and assist with both spoken and written communication.
They will need to provide thinking supports, including helping the client link information together to make decisions and solve problems.
The role is part of a multi-disciplinary team approach to the client's ongoing physical, cognitive, and linguistic processing difficulties.

Job description Job responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team in Southampton, Hampshire.
In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our adult female client ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being with active participation in goal-directed rehabilitation interventions as well as helping her with her executive functions.
It is essential that you drive for this position.
Working Hours: Friday: 10:30 - 18:00 Sunday: 10:00 - 18:00 Key Responsibilities: This will include supporting the client in functional daily living activities, supporting with organisation, and planning, and supporting her communication needs, both spoken and written.
She will need help to draw up realistic plans and schedules, prompts to record and check information, and help to get things done.
Thinking supports are also needed, including support to link information together to make sound decisions and to solve problems.
Her rehabilitation is currently co-ordinated by a case manager with input from a multi-disciplinary team to address on-going physical, cognitive, and linguistic processing difficulties.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work the specified hours.
