Role Overview: As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a positive and conducive atmosphere that allows students to flourish.
Your expertise will help maintain a safe and respectful environment in which each student feels valued and empowered.
Responsibilities: Implementing behaviour management strategies tailored to the needs of individual students.
Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop effective behaviour intervention plans.
Providing one-to-one and group support to students who require additional guidance.
Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress in relation to behaviour targets.
Planning and delivering workshops on topics such as emotional regulation and conflict resolution.
Serving as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and communication skills.
Requirements: Relevant experience in behaviour support, counselling, or a related field is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with behaviour intervention strategies and techniques.
A commitment to supporting the well-being and growth of each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
