Job Type : Full time Job Location : Thurrock School Setting : Special School Contract Type : Temporary to Permanent   REF : SENDIRECT/191639 Rate : £80-£100 per day Hours : 8:30 – 15:30 Start Date : January 2025   SENDirect is seeking a passionate Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant special school in Thurrock.
You will work closely with students who need additional support in managing their behaviour and emotions, helping create a positive learning environment that encourages personal growth and resilience.
  Key Responsibilities : Provide 1:1 mentoring and support for students with behavioural challenges.
Develop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
Facilitate social skills groups and workshops for conflict resolution.
Qualifications and Experience : Experience working with young people, particularly those with challenging behaviour.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
Understanding of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
