Bank Reconciliation Analyst - Leeds - ARD1052125Initially the first few weeks of training which will require 5 days per week in the Leeds office.
After training, this is a hybrid role that will require up to 2 days in the office and the rest of the time will be working remotely.Purpose of the RoleThis exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Client Money Team within our Ardonagh Advisory business.
You will be handling Client Money, which is a FCA regulated service for our members, and it is essential that this role ensures exceptional customer service and CASS compliance is maintained at all times.What you will doThis is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:Accurate reconciliation of our members' client bank accounts to their broking systems in accordance with FCA CASS regulations and Client Money Service level agreements.Reconciliation of Insurer Accounts for allocated members in accordance with the member's supplementary agreement and to the insurer's credit termsAction and resolve queries effectively that may arise from Insurer payments, insurer reconciliations or the cashbook reconciliations in accordance with customer and internal SLAs.Capture all instances of breaches of FCA CASS rules and Broker Network procedures within the internal audit document and awareness of any unusual activity.Detailed understanding of Ardonagh procedures and the relevant CASS 5 rules.Identification and prevention, where possible, of CASS breaches.Interpret / input data from daily, weekly and monthly reports.Other administrative duties as assigned i.e.
Second Signatures Cheques, Client refunds, Bank Account Administration, scanning, indexing and filing.Who we are looking forIdeally, we are looking for someone from an FCA regulated environment, preferably insurer or broker but an absolute must is an Accounts background.
This is an opportunity for a detailed orientated, organised, proactive individual with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively by all mediums, both internally and externally and who can process high volumes quickly and efficiently accurately.
You must be competent using Excel and Outlook and be able to learn new systems quickly.
