Job summary The post holder will be responsible for the service development, management, and co-ordination of Dual diagnosis services to contribute to the further development of an integrated dual diagnosis service pathway across Wolverhampton.
This will involve the provision of a clinical service through consultation and supervision to service users who have a co-morbid severe mental illness and use drugs and/or alcohol problematically.
This will involve service delivery and liaison with both mental health and addiction services throughout Wolverhampton and with the current 3rd sector addictions provider.
Main duties of the job To be responsible for the assessment, planning implementation and evaluation of the evidence-based care required, including health promotion for a named service user/group.
Responsible for the case conference/reviews and discharge planning in collaboration with members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Responsible for participating in the development of the services, setting of quality standards, including the auditing, monitoring and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.
