Main duties of the job Prepare, store and use reagents and consumables in a mannersuitable for patient investigations.
Perform manual laboratory procedures such as precisionpipetting, reagent preparation and complex analytical procedures.
Undertake technical validation of complex results fromlaboratory investigations to ensure accuracy and precision as specified bylaboratory protocols.
To be able to calibrate, maintain, operate andtroubleshoot expensive and complex hardware and software.

Person Specification Experience Essential Practised as a Registered Biomedical Scientist.
Aware of or experience using Helena SAS-3 and Abbott Architect.
Qualifications Essential HCPC registration.
Biomedical Science Degree or equivalent.
