Deputy Headteacher required on permanent basis for brand new SEMH school in Princes Risborough The PWR team are working alongside a brand new partner SEMH school in the Princes Risborough area, to assist their recruitment for a Deputy Headteacher beginning in January or ASAP.
Job Title: Deputy Headteacher Location: Princes Risborough Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum dependent on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only This is a brilliant opportunity to join a brand new school, which will be trialling a 4-day working week in 2025.
To be considered for this role, you must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and also experience working with children with special educational needs.
You must also have some experience managing a team (senior or middle leadership).
Key Task Areas and Responsibilities • To comply with good safeguarding procedures and principles as detailed by the local safeguarding board • To participate in the process of assessment of referrals • To act as overall curriculum coordinator and manager across the school • To act as the lead teacher for the positive support of behaviour that may challenge • To work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team which encompasses education, residential care and the clinical team • To monitor progress and targets to ensure that each individual student can achieve planned outcomes For immediate consideration for this position, please apply using an up to date copy of your CV.
