\nLocation: Barrow in Furness- Onsite
\nSalary: From £45,628+ dependant of skills and experience

\nWhat you'll be doing:
\n\nLeading a team of Electrical Engineers in the Weapons Test Section\nPlanning and supervising commissioning activities\nOverseeing Electrical Rip outs for the weapons section\nReviewing and authoring test documentation in relation to the weapons test section\nReviewing and planning training and development of electrical engineers within the section\nDeputising for the weapons Managers in their absence and act as temporary lead, covering all weapons section meeting\nBe a signing member of the weapons test group\nLiaising with other test departments to ensure safe control of work\n\nYour skills and experiences:
\n\nGood knowledge of either Sonar, Navigation, Command Systems or external communications systems from either commissioning or maintaining experience \nGood understanding of installations and final installation inspection process of weapons electrical systems\nIdeally experience of spice, SAP or P6\nGood understanding and experience of Safe Systems of Work\nExperience of reviewing electrical and weapons technical documentation and drawings\nPrevious Team leader / Supervisory experience\nIdeally have a min of HNC in an Electrical Engineering subject \n\nBenefits:

\nThe Commissioning Engineering team:
\nAs a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, technical control & development of personnel in consistently achieving the following; Departmental goals, Performance metrics expectations, Milestones in accordance with the Contract Delivery Programme.
You will have an opportunity to lead & manage a team of Engineers within the Weapons Test Section, coordinating input of information to the team from all engineering functions.
You will be working on an advanced weapons equipment, requiring a high specialist focus.
\nThis role will provide you with an opportunity to take the first step into line management and progress within the business.
