Azure DevOps Engineer - London / £100,000 Our client is at the forefront of transforming the global shipping industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. As they continue to grow and modernize their operations, our client is looking for a talented Azure DevOps Engineer with Full-Stack Development experience to join our dynamic team.
You will play a key role in optimizing the cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and driving software development and deployment across their complex, mission-critical systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in Azure, DevOps practices, and software development to support a fast-paced industry with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and innovation.
Role & Responsibilities:DevOps Engineering: Design, implement, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes to streamline software deployment and ensure high availability, security, and scalability.Full-Stack Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance web and backend applications, leveraging technologies such as .NET, JavaScript, React, and SQL.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, and Azure CLI.Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize Azure monitoring tools and analytics (such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights) to proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.Collaboration & Best Practices: Work closely with development teams to promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Champion continuous improvement and automation.Shipping Industry Solutions: Understand and integrate key business requirements and workflows specific to the shipping industry, ensuring that technological solutions align with operational goals.Required Qualifications:Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including working with CI/CD pipelines, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Full-Stack Development: Strong experience with modern web development technologies, including .NET (C#), JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).Cloud Infrastructure: Expertise in Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security features.Version Control: Proficiency with Git, GitHub, or Azure Repos for version control and collaboration.Automation: Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet to automate cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure-based container orchestration tools.Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive development and operational excellence.Shipping Industry Knowledge (preferred but not essential): Understanding of logistics, supply chain, and shipping operations is a plus, but not a requirement.If this role interests you, click "Apply" or Email ******
