About the roleAs the Associate Director of Donor Experience, you will design and deliver a gold-standard donor experience which focuses on donors/supporters recognition, retention and uplift, and which is fit for donors who have given at transformational levels. Your and your team's work will not only be integral to the growth of a culture of philanthropy at UCL, but it will also be responsible for the launch events for our biggest ever fundraising and engagement campaign in 2026.
We prioritise work-life balance and offer agile working and flexibility around working hours. Therefore, we are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata). Salary range of £66,711 - £72,370 pa (with room for progression up to £82,989) and excellent benefits. About youAs a creative, confident and approachable leader, you will bring together and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver a best-in-class donor experience programme. Key to your success in this role will be your track record of developing innovative stewardship initiatives for transformational donors and ability to deepen their engagement. You will need to be both strategic and tactical, highly self-driven and able to navigate large and complex environments, where you will work with and galvanise a variety of stakeholders to support and deliver your initiatives. Sophisticated influencing skills and cultural competency will therefore be among your superpowers.
